Thanks, Diana. I guess the librarian in me was hoping for something a little more concrete. Digital preservation is an activity that has to be taken on faith (given our current understanding of what the phrase "long term digital preservation" actually means).

Is anyone at IA looking to one of the digital preservation checklists -- /a la/ TRAC:CC or DRAMBORA (http://dltj.org/article/trac-and-drambora/)? The checklists speak to not only the technical preservation, but also the administrative and policy frameworks for preservation.
